Biography

Billy was a significant addition to the GreenVets team and has boosted our Firm’s capabilities and further enhanced our bona fides in the litigation support arena. And his background in military intelligence operations, including creative data management and workflow, has been a significant gain in our Fusion Center capability leading to enhanced research and analysis support for all our clients.

He has recently rotated out of his two-year US Army Reserves command and his knowledge of advanced logistics has bolstered our Risk Management solutions as he has expertise in supply chain and logistical management from the operational to the strategic. Billy’s rank as a Lieutenant Colonel and experience as a Battalion Commander have given our company a strength in leadership and made our entire team better. He has also deployed around the world as a military intelligence professional, including an extended combat deployment to Iraq.

And Billy isn’t just a leader in the US Military, he has a wide range of experience leading and managing complex business throughout his career, including leading Cicayda as it’s CEO from 2016 to early 2021. This experience meshed with one or primary core competencies in advanced litigation support. While leading Cicayda, he leveraged people, innovation and technology to support the practice of law and its professionals in discovery, review, production, and compliance.

Billy has overseen intelligent discovery, a complete ecosystem for legal professionals. This included the latest capabilities and technical legal expertise. He developed a unique approach to the discovery process that drives greater efficiency, accuracy and lower costs for clients. His background in the legal support industry also goes back to his time as the Manager for Large Law Software Solutions at Thomas Reuters.

As the CEO and co-founder of Standard CP he developed and managed initiatives related to the growth of high end business process consulting services and custom software solutions. While there, he liaised with strategic partners & clients to develop mutually beneficial strategies in N. America, UK/EU, and South Africa. Billy performed analytical review of a client’s business practices and workflow automation in order to design and implement best practice procedures, software utilities, and reporting. He provided workflow and administrative front end tools for users within the CaseLogistix ediscovery management software. He assisted clients in the analysis and enhanced use of their internal data and data repositories such that they improved competitiveness and reduced cost.

Continuing education has always been important to Billy and he was certified in Vietnamese language and literature at the Defense Language Institute. He has Masters degrees in Organizational Leadership and Diplomacy – Conflict Resolution and Peace Operation. He’s also spent time at the US Army Command and General Staff College.
